For the 2025-26 academic year, the LAW Department will exceptionally fund a full LLM grant for one successful applicant affected by an ongoing armed conflict.
Funding Eligibility Criteria
Candidates of any nationality affected by an ongoing armed conflict are eligible to apply.
Degree Requirements
Candidates should normally have completed a Master's degree or an equivalent qualification in an academic discipline relevant to the LLM programme and their research proposal. The degree must be awarded no later than 31 August 2025.
Application Procedure
Candidates wishing to apply for this scholarship should select the relevant funding option in the funding section of their online application for the LLM Programme.
Applicants must also include a statement (up to 700 words) detailing how the conflict has impacted them and their education. This statement should be submitted as a separate file, following the instructions provided on the online application form. The information shared in this statement will be treated as restricted confidential data, accessible only to those responsible for assessing eligibility criteria for selection and admission. No data will be retained beyond the application and admission process.

Candidates receiving this scholarship are exempt from paying the LLM programme's annual tuition fee of 15.400 EUR.
