Occupational health and safety (OHS) at the EUI

Ensuring a safe and healthy working environment is a fundamental right and principle at work.

In relation to the application of the right to safe and healthy working conditions, the EUI is continuously working to assess occupational hazards and to enhance preventive and protective measures aimed at eliminating or minimising identified risks.

To this end, the adoption of the President’s Decision N. 21 of 16 May 2023 further improves the following aspects of OHS at the EUI:

  • EUI OHS organisational structure with roles and obligations (“Who’s who” in the OHS management);
  • Training sessions on OHS at the EUI;
  • Health surveillance programme for EUI members exposed to specific OHS risks, as identified in the EUI Risk Assessment Document.
