EUIdeas: The Power of Knowledge

  • Location: Badia Fiesolana (Via dei Roccettini, 9 – San Domenico di Fiesole)
  • Time: 08:30-21:00

EUIdeas is part of the EUI’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.

Under the theme The Power of Knowledge, it takes the form of a public research festival bringing together research-driven conversations on how knowledge shapes Europe’s present and future. The programme connects EUI research with policy actors, civil society, and wider audiences, creating a structured space for dialogue across disciplines and governance levels.

Addressing the political, social and economic challenges shaping Europe today - from democracy, trust and public knowledge to structural transformation, security and external action, and the cultural and historical dimensions of Europe’s future - EUIdeas explores how knowledge can strengthen institutions, support informed public debate, and guide decision-making in complex times.

The day combines plenary moments, parallel sessions, and interactive formats designed to foster meaningful exchange. Across its thematic strands, EUIdeas highlights how universities contribute not only to analysing complex realities, but to informing public debate and shaping Europe’s long-term trajectory.

Public event with registration.
