Alumna Simona Talani organised a conference on the Future of EMU. The conference took place at the European Institute at the London School of Economics on 12 October, with the participation of various EUI alumni and ex-Professors. Other London-based alumni joined the group for dinner.

The Conference 'Between Growth and Stability: The Consequences of the Reform of the European Stability and Growth Pact', was held at the LSE, 9-10 September 2005.

On 11 December 2004 a London EUI alumni chapter was set up. Simona Talani and Svet Andreev met with the AA President; they will organize a series of events for the many 'Florentines' in town.
