The Secretary General assists the President in organisational and administrative duties as well as in governance and external relations.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is in charge of the Institute’s daily business operations and administration. 

The EUI Administration strives to provide effective and efficient services that are tailored to the needs of the academic community and that contribute constructively to the implementation of the Institute's strategy. The Administration commits to benchmarking according to international best practices in higher education administration, subsequently reviewing, modernising and streamlining its operations processes to ensure the EUI maintains its competitive edge, institutional resilience in changing times, and excellence in teaching and research.
