For them and for former fellows and staff members, ICT will send an advisory notice informing that upon request the @eui.eu email account may be transformed into the appropriate alumni account. EUI Alumni e-mail account On request, the EUI will assign and activate an EUI alumni email account for exiting EUI members. There are four types of alumni email accounts. The specific account assigned depends on the existing member’s specific affiliation to the EUI. An activated alumni email account is a prerequisite for obtaining an EUI Alumni card, which is necessary for Library access. With the activation of an alumni account, ICT will transfer the user’s pre-existing folders and emails to the new email domain from the original @eui.eu account. The four alumni email domains are: @alumni.eui.eu for graduated EUI PhD or LLM researchers and graduates of the Master in Transnational Governance (MTnG) and MRes in Economics @alumniprofs.eui.eu for former EUI professors @alumnifellows.eui.eu for former EUI Fellows including Max Weber Fellows, Policy Leader Fellows, Marie Curie Fellows, Jean Monnet Fellows, Young African Leaders Programme Fellows @former.eui.eu for former EUI staff members (not including auxiliaries and trainees), PhD and LLM researchers, MTnG and MRes students who did not complete the programme; academic or administrative assistants; researchers and fellows visiting the EUI for at least 6 months NB. In case of multiple affiliations, please note that we will assign the domain of your email account as follows: Graduates of EUI’s PhD, LLM, MTnG or MRes in Economics ([email protected]) Former EUI Professors ([email protected]) Former EUI Fellow ([email protected]) Any other former EUI member at the EUI for at least 12 months ([email protected]) Request your EUI Alumni account here and see related privacy statement [PDF]. EUI Alumni card The EUI Alumni card may be requested in person at the Badia Control Room at least 1 to 5 days after having submitted the Alumni e-mail account request form online. It is possible to collect your card at the Badia Control Room from Monday to Friday, 10.30 - 12.30 in the morning and 14.00 - 15.30 in the afternoon. The EUI Alumni card has a one-off fee of 5 €. Please note that the EUI Alumni card gives access to the Library during regular opening hours (weekends excluded). The Alumni card does not function as a key to EUI entrances and exits. Credit may be added to the alumni card for canteen and bar purchases. EUI Library EUI Alumni card holders can access the EUI library during regular opening hours, borrow books following library rules and access e-resources while on campus. Visit the Library access page for more information. Printing Facilities Service EUI Alumni can use the various public Multifunction Printers around the campus in order to print, scan and make copies.
