ETHICS - European Training in Higher International Criminal Sciences
ETHICS (European Training in Higher International Criminal Sciences) is a project of the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies of the European University Institute, organised with the support of the European Commission.
With the establishment of the International Criminal Court (ICC), the need to train prosecutors, judges, government officials, and attorneys at law in the Contracting Parties, as well as lawyers willing to join the ICC, becomes increasingly crucial.
ETHICS provided high-level training to professionals in the field of international criminal justice.
The project included a two-week intensive training course at the EUI in February 2004 and four shorter regional workshops held in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe in 2004–2006.
