My primary fields of interest are family economics and labour economics. I received my Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Nezih Guner from the University of Carlos III Madrid in December 2011. I received an M.Sc. in Economics from University College London after obtaining my B.Sc. in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Southampton, UK. My dissertation focuses on household and family decisions and how these decisions are shaped by public policy within dynamic general equilibrium models. In one of my papers I analyze how public policies can help families reconcile work and family life. During my Ph.D. I was a teaching assistant for several undergraduate courses, where I have taught mainly courses on macroeconomics.
