I received a PhD in Political Science from Yale University (2013) and a JD from the Yale Law School (2016). I have published in Review of Politics and in edited volumes. While at the EUI, I plan to continue revising for publication a set of articles on subjects including comparative intellectual histories of interwar and postwar constitutional thought in the United States and Germany, a study of the ‘democratic paradox’ in American voting and speech law, and an analysis of statutory interpretation and administrative discretion in the context of a polarized and dysfunctional American Congress.
