- On 25 November, the Centre for Modern European Studies, University of Copenhagen, will host a presentation and discussion on the book "The European Commission 1986-2000. History and Memories of an Institution", the third volume of the EC's oral history based institutional history project. Dieter Schlenker, Director of the HAEU, will participate in the discussion.

- On Tuesday, 19 November, a group of experts including HAEU Director Dieter Schlenker will meet at the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH) to discuss the changing concept of "walls" in history. The roundtable is organized on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall on 9 November 2019. On Monday, 18 November at 18:30, the C²DH will host as well the movie "Un Mur à Berlin".

- On 9 and 10 June 2020, the Frankfurt Max Planck Institute will host the fourth annual conference of the Research Field 'Legal History of the European Union', which will focus on the relationship between law and policy in European integration from the 1960s to the 1990s. Proposals for contributions of no more than 150 words are welcome by 1st December 2019.
