Through dedicated trainings, research and events, the EUI will collaborate with FGF in order to promote and enhance innovative and dynamic approaches to education and research. Both parties will work to establish a successful framework in order to implement diverse activities.
This partnership will strengthen the EUI’s efforts to prepare young professionals in addressing pressing socio-cultural, economic, and political issues through a multidisciplinary, interactive approach. Training, research and events will focus in particular on the following areas of interest, common to both institutions: democracy, peace and security, gender, climate change, representation and political participation, social movements, structural changes in the labour market, European integration process and transnational governance.
Based in Milan, FGF is an independent, non-profit organisation, established in 1949 and has been one of the major European research and documentation centres in historical, political, economic and social sciences.
Established in 1972, the EUI is an intergovernmental institution involving 24 Member States of the European Union. The EUI offers research and learning opportunities at the PhD, postdoctoral, master’s and executive training levels.
