On Saturday 5 December 2015, walk along the paths that have inspired - and continue to inspire - artists from all over the world. Tuscan poet and Italian teacher, Annarita Zacchi, will accompany you on a three-hour walk to Villa il Palmerino. Once home to Vernon Lee and frequented by many artists of the likes of Berenson, Aldous Huxley and Anatole France, to name but a few, this historic residence is now a vibrant Cultural Association which continues to attract contemporary artists.

Over a Tuscan afternoon tea, the owners of Villa il Palmerino will tell you tales of guests of the nineteenth century, and we will read some of Vernon Lee's verses.

For more information (in Italian) you can read the third description in the attached document, Il Palmerino, crocevia di artisti a Firenze. To participate contact Annarita Zacchi. We will be meeting at 2 p.m. at the No.7 busstop, near the newspaper kiosk, in Piazza Edison.
