Posted on 04 February 2016 Want to know more about the history and culture of Italy? On Wednesday 10 February, Research Fellow on the Medici Archive Project, Simone Testa, will lead the first talk entitled Local Versus Global: City-States Defy the Emperor in the Middle Ages: the Lombard League (1187-1226). This is a series of talks devised in collaboration with the Language Centre. These encounters will be held every two weeks on Wednesday evenings from 18:00-19:00 in Villa Raimondi Room 1.
