The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science offers special EUI Doctoral Grants for Ukrainian candidates who are directly affected by the war in Ukraine.
Eligibility Criteria
In addition to the general EUI application criteria (Degree Requirements), to be eligible for these scholarships candidates must meet the following criteria to apply:
- They must hold the Ukrainian nationality and they must be directly affected by the war in Ukraine.
Application Procedure
Candidates wishing to apply for these grants should choose the 'Special Grants for Ukrainian Candidates Affected by the War' option in the Grant authority section of the online application form and indicate their nationality in the 'Justification' field.
Important: Candidates who wish to apply for these grant, must submit a cover letter (up to 700 words) which describes their personal circumstances following the war in Ukraine. This letter must be attached to the EUI Online Application Form, using CV field (attachments) to upload the PDF document, as a separate file in addition to your CV.
