This presentation by Lou Zhang (MachineMetrics) addresses topics such as who owns the data we work with, and how changes in the privacy environment affect us. It also compares and contrasts different ways in which the US and EU deal with this question. Finally, it covers the overall data governance environment of "bigtech", on which start-ups operate, and the considerations on how changes in the governance practices of these bigger companies affect start-ups.
