Digital platforms have grown exponentially across geographies. While these platforms have significantly contributed to the growth of digital economies, they have also been charged with misuse of monopoly powers. The panel will deliberate upon how trade policies pertaining to goods and services could help growth of digital platforms and how competition policies can be tuned to curtail the abuse of dominant power by digital platforms so as to strike a balance between the interests of digital platforms, associated vendors and consumers.
