Join the STG Policy Leader Fellows to discuss the role of the International community in conflict resolution, from courtroom to battlefield.

This panel will focus on the involvement of the international community in peacemaking and peacebuilding processes. It will analyse the complexity of several case studies, thus critically assessing if and to what extent the international community has been able to develop a comprehensive approach involving all relevant stakeholders.

In this context, the speakers will cover the international mediation in the conflicts in the Balkans and Eastern Europe, the verification of the peace agreement by the UN in Colombia, and the legal tools established within the EU itself for resolving conflicts among its member states.
