The contemporary social sciences landscape is marked by the constant interplay between established theories and emerging perspectives. The dichotomy of "Continuity or Rupture" serves as a compelling lens through which we can examine the evolving nature of social structures, cultural dynamics, and human interactions. Contributors are invited to delve into the tension between continuity and disruption, investigating how ideas, practices, and methodologies circulate, adapt, or rupture in the ever-changing tapestry of social science scholarship.
The MWP June Conference aims to foster meaningful dialogue among current and past Max Weber Fellows that transcends disciplinary boundaries, methodological traditions, and theoretical approaches. We encourage Fellows to collaborate and exchange ideas by presenting, showcasing, or organizing interdisciplinary panels to share their research. This conference provides a unique platform for fostering connections and advancing our collective understanding of the complexities inherent in social sciences through the development of panels, roundtables, individual presentations, and poster sessions.
