With the EU's 'Trade for All' policy starting to bear fruits, many innovative unilateral trade measures appearing, and an international trade scene in turmoil, it is timely to strengthen research on EU Trade Law and Sustainable Development. The researchers of the EUI's Law Department therefore gather PhD and early-career researchers to discuss the way forward for an EU trade policy reinforcing the EU's environmental and social objectives.
In this conference, 13 speakers from different universities will present and discuss in four different panels: (i) Negotiating Non-Trade Policy Objectives, (ii) Effectiveness, Enforceability, and Implementation, (iii) Beyond Environment and Labour, and (iv) Tool boxing Sustainable Development.
