This online seminar will provide an overview of the current markets turmoil where the objectives of taming inflation and ensuring financial stability create tensions and frictions.The event will feature Elena Carletti (Dean of Research, Bocconi University) and Stefan Gavell (Vice-Chair, Executive Education Program on International Financial Systems) and will be chaired by Thorsten Beck (Director of the Florence School of Banking and Finance).Panellists will discuss the impact on banks’ balance sheets and will analyse the recent cases involving Silicon Valley Bank (Svb) e Credit Suisse (Cs) from a European and US perspective. Panellists will also explore implication for risk management and bank capital and liquidity regulation.
