Following the publication of the “Elgar Companion to the OECD,” the EUI School of Transnational Governance welcomes the editors, authors and guest speakers to discuss the book and the role of the OECD in transnational governance.

The Elgar Companion to the OECD analyses the relevance of the OECD as a transnational policy maker, idea broker and standard setter. By bringing together diverse disciplines and methodologies, the Companion establishes the influence of the OECD on modern understandings of governance.

We are delighted to welcome the Companion’s editors and authors, together with key guest speakers to discuss the role of the OECD in a historical perspective. The panel will take stock of the historical accounts provided by the Companion, identify the present challenges of international organisation and discuss the future of the OECD in transnational governance.

All are welcome to attend. Please register, indicating if you will participate online or in presence (on a first come, first serve basis).
