We are pleased to present the findings of the survey on Professional Climate and Gender Issues at the EUI Economics department. The survey was modelled after the Professional Climate Survey of the AEA (2019) and was circulated among researchers and Max Weber Fellows in February and March 2024. It reached a final response rate of over 63 percent. We will present results on general satisfaction with the departmental climate as well as experiences of discrimination and harassment, with a special focus on gender differences. We would like to encourage debate and discussion as much as possible. For this reason, we will provide the link to a Google form where all online and onsite participants can share – anonymously if they wish - their questions, comments and feedback during and after the talk.We will circulate the link to a Google form the day before.
