The Fifth Annual Graduate Conference on the History of European Integration is a unique opportunity for selected PhD students and early career researchers to present their work, receive feedback, and engage with senior scholars on historiographical and methodological approaches to European integration. The conference will provide an informal atmosphere in which new ideas and research directions, as well as advice on publishing and academic careers, can be shared and debated.
The programme consists of six panel sessions to discuss selected research papers, a training session on career and publications, and a panel discussion concerning the EUI Widening Programme project OPENARCH.
Participation in the Conference is by invitation only.
The 2024 Annual Graduate Conference is organised by the Alcide De Gasperi Research Centre with financial support from the EUI’s Widening Europe Programme, the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, the Florence School of Transnational Governance and the Historical Archives of the European Union.
The EUI Widening Europe Programme initiative, backed by contributions from the European Union and EUI Contracting States, is designed to strengthen internationalisation, competitiveness, and quality in research in Widening countries, and thus foster a more cohesive European Higher Education and Research area.
