The EUI Finance, Innovation and Business Regulation Working Group holds an event to discuss the recently approved Directive 2024/1760 on corporate sustainability due diligence, a key piece of EU legislation that aims at ensuring the respect of human rights and the environment throughout the chain of activities of large enterprises.
The conference will feature presentations by scholars specialising in corporate, financial, and banking law, as well as international and labour law, that will jointly explore the new Directive, now to be transposed by Member States, from different perspectives, assessing both its potential and shortcomings.
Attendance is free and open to all, with EUI researchers from other fields of study particularly encouraged to participate to enrich the multidisciplinary discussion.
