A keynote speech by Kata Tüttő, President of the European Committee of the Regions.

Following the public address by António Costa, President of the European Council, attendees are invited to join a focus session with Kata Tütto, President of the European Committee of the Regions. This session will explore the intersection of internal and external security and its implications for cohesion within the European Union.

President Tütto will deliver a keynote speech sharing her perspectives on this topic. The conversation will be enriched by opening remarks from Antonio Mazzeo, President of the Regional Council of Tuscany and interventions by Eugenio Giani, President of the Tuscany Region and Anton Hemerijck, Professor of Political Science and Sociology at the EUI.

These contributions will set the stage for an open debate involving members of the EU Local Councillors Network and other participants, providing a valuable platform for dialogue across local, regional, and European levels of governance.

Please register here for the event. The event will also be livestreamed; more information will follow soon.
