En collaboration avec le James Madison Charitable Trust, l'UACES offre une bourse de recherche à un étudiant de doctorat ou chercheur en début de carrière afin qu'il puisse visiter les AHUE et effectuer des recherches archivistiques.

« Europe sans frontières: un historique de l'accord de Schengen »: Bastian Matteo Scianna, boursier du PPE, examine le rôle des démocrates-chrétiens et du Parti populaire européen (PPE)

Description
Le Dr Bastian Matteo Scianna, titulaire d'une bourse de recherche du PPE, mène ses recherches aux AHUE. Son projet de recherche s'inscrit dans le cadre de son projet postdoctoral intitulé. L'objectif est de démontrer l'influence cruciale des démocrates-chrétiens dans les gouvernements nationaux, et celle du PPE dans le Parlement européen, dans le processus de suppression des contrôles aux frontières entre les Etats membres de la Communauté européenne.

Dr Bastian Matteo Scianna, holder of a research grant from the European People's Party, conducted research at the HAEU with the aim to show the crucial influence of both Christian Democrats in national governments as well as the European People's Party in the European Parliament in the process of abolishing border controls between European Community member states.
