The conference will be organised around five different themes: Border controls, security and mobility practices Themes, patterns and trends in migration governance Labour markets, welfare states and migration policies Migration, aid and development Public attitude to migration and migration policies Participants may choose one or more of the themes listed above for their papers. The aims of the conference are to further understand trends and patterns in migration from a perspective on various matters such as the COVID19 pandemic. Moreover, this conference and governing themes will delve into the factors that are shaping social, legal, political and economic responses to international migration. Deadline for paper proposals is 11 February 2022 at 17:00 CEST. Acceptance notifications will be sent during the week beginning 14 March 2022.
