Sergio Puig de la Parra is the Director of the EUI Max Weber Programme and Joint Chair in International Economic Law at the EUI Department of Law and the Robert Schuman Centre. He specialises in international economic law, with a focus on investment and trade law, business and human rights, and empirical legal methods. His most recent publication is Latin American International Law in the Twenty-First Century.

Bernard Hoekman is Professor and Director of the Global Economics team of the Global Governance Programme at the EUI’s Robert Schuman Centre. Prior positions include Director of the International Trade Department and Research Manager in the Development Research Group of the World Bank. He has been an economist in the GATT Secretariat and held visiting positions at SciencesPo, Paris. The book mentioned in the video is titled Trade in the 21st century : back to the past? (co-edited by with Ernesto Zedillo).
