Biography

Denis Piplaš is currently the Deputy Secretary-General of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), an intergovernmental institution in the Western Balkans. He is an expert in democratisation, with previous work experience in international organisations, political foundations, and think tanks. As a published author, he writes on political developments in Southeast Europe and the integration of the Western Balkans into the EU. Denis holds a Master's degree in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Sarajevo.
