Gianmarco Fifi is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow at the European University Institute and the University of California, Berkeley. Previously, he served as the Nicholas Barr Fellow in European Political Economy at the London School of Economics and Political Science.He holds a BA from LUISS Guido Carli, an MA in International Political Economy from King’s College London, and a PhD from the University of Warwick.Gianmarco’s research focuses on the political economy of crisis management, examining how crises influence European integration. He is particularly interested in how economic crises reshape actors’ policy preferences and their perceptions of Europe’s future. His work has been published in the Journal of European Public Policy, Review of International Political Economy, and New Political Economy, among other journals.
