Biography

Jonas F. Mikkelsen received his PhD from the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy, School of Oriental and Asian Studies (SOAS), University of London, with a thesis on the role of the executive head in international organisations. His research interests cover international organisations and public administration. He collaborates with academics from the London School of Economics and CUAS Villach. Mikkelsen holds a BA in History (2001) and a BSc in Economics (2004) from the University of Copenhagen. He has an MSc in Statistics and Economics from the University of Rome 'Sapienza' (2008) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Administration (2014) from the University of Manchester. Mikkelsen has more than 18 years of experience in international organisations. He most recently held the position of Second Deputy Director at the OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR).
