Biography
Krishan Insan is a seasoned energy professional with expertise in energy policies and regulations, climate change, sustainable finance, law, sustainability, circularity, the SDGs, international dispute settlement, leadership, business management, and more. Krishan has worked in various institutions, including a brief stint at ICSID (World Bank), and has held roles across regulatory, governmental, semi-governmental, autonomous, and private sector entities.
Krishan is a Chevening Scholar, a G-20 Leadership Fellow at KDI, South Korea, and an alumnus of the 3rd cohort of the Energy Leadership class at the Energy Law Institute, Centre for American and International Law — the first and only Indian to receive this honour. He actively participates in and speaks at various leadership events, conferences, and roundtable discussions across different countries.
