Biography

Luciano Caratori leads the global Energy Cluster with the Climate Champions Team, which supports the UN Climate Change High-Level Champions in driving real-world momentum into the Climate Change negotiations by mobilising climate action among non-state actors to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement.
In the public sector, he served as Undersecretary of Energy Planning, National Director of Energy Information, and Advisor to the Vice-Chair of the Mining, Energy and Fuels Committee of Argentina’s National Senate. Since 2011, Luciano has been a researcher on energy and climate change with Fundación e Instituto Torcuato Di Tella (FTDT). He is a part-time professor of energy planning at the Centre of Studies on Energy Regulation at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (CEARE-UBA) and at the Technology Institute of Buenos Aires (ITBA) in Argentina.
