Monika Sus is associate professor at the Polish Academy of Sciences and visiting professor at the Center for International Security at the Hertie School in Berlin, where she leads the Horizon 2020 project Envisioning a New Governance Architecture for a Global Europe (ENGAGE). From 2016 to 2017, she was Jean Monet Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre, where she is currently a visiting fellow. Her research interests lie primarily in international relations, particularly in the study of European Union´s foreign, security and defense policy and in the investigation of the institutional dynamics between the supranational and national level in EU's foreign policy making. She also works on bilateral cooperation between European Union´s Member States in the field of foreign and security policy as well as on the application of strategic foresight in international relations.
