Nicola Bilotta is the coordinator of the EU-Supervisory Digital Finance Academy (EU-SDFA) and a Research Associate at the Florence School of Banking and Finance. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the LUMSA University and an Associate Fellow at Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI). Previously, he led research on digitalisation and global economics as a Senior Fellow at IAI. He also worked as a Senior Research Analyst at The Banker Research Team (Financial Times), as a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, and as the coordinator of the Think20 Task Force 'Infrastructure Investment and Financing' under the Italian G20 Presidency in 2021. He co-edited and contributed to the volumes: 'The Rise of Tech Giants. A game changer in global finance and politics' (Peter Lang, 2019) and 'The Near Future of CBDCs. Risks and Opportunities for the global economy and society' (Peter Lang, 2021). His work has been quoted by the Bank for International Settlement, Bank of Italy, Bank of Spain, the G20, and other leading experts.
