Plamena Popova’s current research focuses on the interaction between moral rights, reputation, and digital technologies. She holds a Doctorate in Law (2010, Thesis: “Authors' Rights and Architectural Works”) and was a visiting scholar at Columbia University in the same year. She was also a Faculty Associate at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society (2019-2020). Plamena has been working as a lawyer since 2010, dealing with various topics related to digital rights, intellectual property disputes, and policy. She is a qualified European Trademark and Design Attorney and a member of ECTA and INTA. She also advises on policy issues in this field through the Digital Republic Association.
