Simone Marino is a Senior Advisor with 15 years of experience in international development, diplomacy, economic policy, and high-level negotiations across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. He has held leadership roles in private consulting firms, the European Commission Secretariat-General, and the United Nations Development Programme. As a key negotiator for the European Commission on Italy’s €195 billion Recovery Plan, and for major G7 initiatives under the 2024 Italian G7 Presidency, such as the Partnership for Global Investment and Infrastructure (PGII), Simone has helped shape global investment strategies and climate policies. Simone holds Research Master's degrees from the London School of Economics (UK) and Trento University (Italy). He has been a Visiting Fellow at Hitotsubashi University (Tokyo) and an Alumni Fellow of the University of Cambridge, Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
