Biography
Vincent Braniff is an Honorary Medical Officer and tutor at St Paul’s College, Sydney University. Since 2006, he has worked as a bariatric surgeon and in emergency medicine at Allamanda Private Hospital on the Gold Coast. Earlier, he trained as a surgical registrar at leading Australian hospitals and undertook international medical assignments in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Mali, Nigeria, China, and Borneo. A graduate of
the University of Adelaide, he completed his residency at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, and served as a Regimental Medical Officer in the Australian Army. Beyond medicine, Vincent has expertise in European studies, EU trade, diplomacy, and energy policy. He is also actively engaged in research on climate, biodiversity, and sustainable finance.
