Claudette is an experimental scientific project dedicated to automated compliance assessment of Terms of Service and privacy policies of online service providers. Through testing various approaches to machine learning, the system has demonstrated that automated compliance assessment is possible to a significant degree, with an efficiency which is further increased with the growth of the dataset. The system also demonstrates significant potential of becoming multilingual and capable of providing explanations for the automated choices it makes while conducting compliance analysis of unfair contract terms against the legislative framework set forth by the Unfair Terms Directive and of privacy policies against the General Data Protection Regulation.@Claudette_EUI The team Group members Francesca Lagioia Part-time Professor Department of Law View Francesca Lagioia profile
