Demand response, storage and distributed generation of energy are key for creating fair, transparent and open conditions for the consumer. However, making this work requires the development of new products and services and the creation of a new IT architecture. The EU-funded OneNet project is taking on this ambitious endeavour. It proposes innovative mechanisms of platform federation that are key technical enablers, made possible through a strong consortium that includes an impressive list of grid operators as well as key IT actors, leading research institutions and two of the most relevant grid operator associations. As part of its broader plan, the project will mobilise the international energy community via a large-scale forum.Read here the latest scientific publications of the project.
