The Historical Archives of the European Union has the pleasure to announce the publication by "Press Fédéraliste" of the book by Robert Toulemon "Carnet d'Europe - Souvenirs européens 1950 - 2005".
This book was published with the support of the Historical Archives of the EU.
The author in this book bears witness to a life devoted entirely to European and federalist activities. Robert Toulemon was a high official at the European Commission from 1962 to 1973, as Chef de cabinet in Robert Marjolin's cabinet and later as Director General for Industrial, Technological and Scientific Affairs along with Altiero Spinelli. Founder in 1975 of the Associaton française d' étude pour l'Union européenne (AFEUR), and professor of European economic integration at the Sciences-po Paris from 1975 to 1980.
Robert Toulemon has recently deposited his personal papers at the Historical Archives of the European Union for preservation, public access and research. The inventory of this collection is now available online.
