Teaching methods

We care not only about what we teach, but how we teach it

The programme applies a student-centred pedagogical approach with a wide range of teaching activities and learning methods spanning from:

  • Conducting interviews with renown international experts
  • Debates
  • Writing and publishing op-eds
  • Developing policy briefs
  • Running public policy hackathons
  • Participating in negotiation role-plays
  • Producing podcasts.

The programme is truly transnational in terms of content, teaching staff and student background and we offer you an inclusive teaching experience where you will be encouraged to think critically and creatively in order to increase your understanding of transnational governance in both theory and practice.

Case studies

The STG case studies use real-life scenarios to illustrate complex decision-making challenges. This methodology is used in class to illustrate difficult situations where students must practice analytical and leadership skills to develop solutions.
