- WHAT: the nature of the emergency
- WHERE: your exact position
- WHO: the presence of injured persons
Memorise or keep with you the emergency number (it’s on the back of EUI card!)

In case of fire just press the closest fire button.
2) HOW TO BEHAVE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY AT THE WORKPLACE
If you hear alarm sounds, leave immediately by the nearest emergency exit, marked by green signs
any green sign means «safety»!;
N.B. leave the building without delay in an orderly manner and keep calm!
Reach the nearest assembly point (safe area!) outside the building and remain there until all-clear is given.
3) HOW TO BEHAVE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY AT THE WORKPLACE
Therefore, make sure you are familiar with evacuation procedures in an emergency:
- Do not check the building for occupants; the EUI Emergency Team will do this!
- Do not try to carry any personal object that may slow you down (large bags, etc.): if at hand, grasp your mobile or other small crucial items (keys, wallet): NOT MORE THAN THIS!
- Leave by the most direct available route following the green signs;
- Go to the nearest Assembly Point;
- In case of an earthquake keep calm and take shelter under a table or in a doorway
