In the past months, four researchers from the Interwar Histories Working Group have read and discussed the edited volume The Interwar World, and written a review of the book. The Interwar World is a product of ‘Interwar history’ that deeply reflects on what this period that we as historians all seem to take for granted, actually is. The Interwar is a concept we use but often do not reflect on. The Interwar World does and challenges us historians to rethink what we do when we work on ‘Interwar histories’.At this event, the Interwar Histories Working Group will enter into (online) conversation with the volume's editors, Andrew Denning and Heidi Tworek. We will discuss the book, its programme and promises and how using the Interwar as a global concept changes our research practices. Please register to get a seat or to receive the ZOOM link.
