Academic Presentations: everything you always wanted to know but were afraid to ask

In this Academic Development workshop, participants will revisit and explore communication strategies to create effective presentations. There will be a particular focus on linguistic framing techniques, vocal delivery and confidence building. By the end, each participant will have held a five-minute presentation on a topic of their choice and received feedback from peers and instructors.

The workshop will last three hours, with a short break in the middle. It is aimed at PhD and LLM researchers. The maximum group size is ten participants, which will ensure that everyone has a chance to practice and to take feedback.
