Enrolment and Induction

Children of eligible EUI members can enrol from 1 August to 31 July on presentation of the following:

• copy of vaccination certificate;
• list of food intolerances or allergies;
• a completed and signed registration form, to be submitted at least one month before the child is due to attend
• pick up authorization form;
• certificato di disabilità (medical certificate attesting disability).

Induction to accustom children to their new surroundings takes place over one week. Parents will complete the induction with their children during the first three days. After then, parents will drop off their children and speak with the teachers to decide on the pick-up time. Please note that it is unlikely that children will complete a full day at the creche during the first week. 

Induction should be arranged beforehand with the supervisors and can be done throughout the year. Please refer to the following document for additional information: Settling-In Phase

We also recommend scheduling a one-on-one meeting with the teachers prior to the child's induction. The meeting will last aproximately 30 minutes and should be arranged with the creche coordinator, via email.
