In the light of the severe weather alert issued by the relevant Italian authority “Protezione Civile”, the local municipalities in Florence and Fiesole have decided to close all schools for tomorrow, Thursday 1st March, and they strongly advise citizens to limit their movements.
Given these meteorological circumstances, the EUI will be closed tomorrow and all activities will be suspended so as to follow the recommendations outlined in the attached documents (ordinanze dei Comuni di Firenze, Fiesole e della Protezione Civile).
It will not be possible to access any of the EUI Buildings for the duration of this closure. Card readers will be deactivated from midnight tonight until 6.00 a.m. on Friday 2nd March.
Without prejudice of further communication, all the premises will re-open and activities will resume on Friday 2nd March.
