On the occasion of the global event #FridaysForFuture, on Friday 15 March  EUI users will find in all EUI canteens placemats reminding everyone about the EUI's committment towards a sustainable and environmentally friendly living.

Some updates:

• Thanks to EUI Green efforts, the Institute lowered CO2 emissions and reduced its carbon footprint (CFR) by 0.59% in 2018. # FridaysForFuture #FFF #GreenEUI #climateaction
• We’ve committed to reducing plastics by installing water dispensers and eliminating the use of disposable plastic cups on campus. Over the course of 2018, 28481 water plastic bottles were sold across the EUI campus, let's bring this number significantly down this year ! #FridaysForFutre #FFF #GreenEUI #climateaction
• The EUI has added walking paths, bicycle racks and a bike maintenance station to encourage green transportation. A 100% electric van is operational as of February for EUI Shuttle services. #FridaysForFuture #FFF #GreenEUI  #climateaction
