Secretary General

The Secretary General assists the President in organisational and administrative duties as well as in governance and external relations.

The Secretary General organises and facilitates external relations with main institutional stakeholders and works towards the accession of those EU Member States that are not yet members of the EUI. He coordinates institutional relations with the Italian Government, as well as the regional and local authorities and promotes the relations of the Institute with local, national, and international governmental and non-governmental organisations.

Marco Del Panta was appointed as Secretary General of the EUI in 2020.
