The Historical Archives of the European Union (HAEU) is now taking applications for the European Space Agency (ESA) Post-doctoral Research Grant. Postgraduate students and early career academics in history and the social sciences are invited to apply.
Projects dealing with any aspect of ESA’s activities and history will be considered. Relevant topics include but are not limited to the origins of the European Space Agency, the development of European space research, the evolution of Europe’s activities in space, European cooperation in science and space, and projects dealing with ESA technology, such as climate change and data/information exchange.
The ESA Grant was created thanks to an agreement between the ESA and the European University Institute that provides for up to two fellowships of €5000 each to support archival research on the ESA at the HAEU.
